The main thing is to access the frankness of the person responding. The frankness of people is the key that opens us to diversity, to the plurality of points of view, and it only emerges when it is the subject who responds, not their finger while the participant is on “autopilot” mode.

Likewise, from a professional perspective, designing “respondents” is extremely important in the samples we take from online panels and communities , because we do not contaminate the universe where, after you, another colleague will come to ask those same people. This is a great challenge in the management of Internet user panels and a very good additional reason to put digital empathy into play.
