John McAdam had three sons who followed in his footsteps and who are well documented but there were also three daughters the eldest of whom Jane married a Gemmell in 1810. They had a large family of at least six sons and two daughters one of whom Euphemia Lennox Gemmel was born in 1811 and married a John Kennedy who I think was from Ayr or Sal. Their daughter in turn (I'm not sure how many of a family they had)
