As it is a corporate social network, people frequently use it to look for job opportunities and recruiters to connect with potential collaborators.

Entrepreneurs, on the other hand, use LinkedIn as a means to build connections and brand their business in order to communicate with their target audience.

The platform also allows them to connect with other companies and suppliers to do B2B ( business to business ) business, whether to offer products or services.

How do people connect?
On LinkedIn , each person's network is built on the basis of the contacts they establish: work colleagues, university classmates, clients, influencers , etc.

You can expand your network colombia phone data by sending invitations to contact other LinkedIn members or accepting invitations from others.

To define the degree of interaction within the platform, LinkedIn created a classification for different types of contacts:

First degree contacts
People you have direct contact with, either because you accepted their invitations or because they accepted yours. You'll see a 1st degree icon next to their name and have the option to send them a message from LinkedIn .

Second degree contacts
These are people who are connected to your 1st degree connections. You will see a 2nd degree icon next to their name and you can send them an invitation by clicking the “Connect” button on their profile.

Third degree contacts
These are those who are connected to your second-degree contacts. They have a 3rd-degree icon next to their name.

Followers
People who choose to follow your public updates on their LinkedIn feed .
