Watch out for Christmas deadlines The music industry is full of people like you who love spending time with their families and finding time to sit by the fire and drink hot chocolate. Not only that, but live streaming platforms are also closed for the holidays. Last year, iTunes was shut down over Thanksgiving and again between December 22nd and January 1st. As we get closer to the end of the year, everything starts to slow down. Whether you’re working with an independent publisher or not, never wait until the last minute to try to release a Christmas single.

It never ends well. At Symphonic, our team approves releases every day, Monday through Friday. , listened to, and reviewed to ensure it meets the guidelines for distribution to the partners we deliver to. We typically approve all releases within 2-3 business days, but this does not include holidays or weekends.
